God’s Miracles — Aaron Dressler

Mark 8: 4

S His disciples replied, “How are we supposed to find enough food to feed them out here in the wilderness?”

O Jesus’ disciples had experienced so many of His miracles and still found it impossible to believe He could feed another large group of people. Why did they have such a hard time comprehending who Jesus was? They lived and breathed with Jesus; they were his disciples, and still had a hard time catching on.

A How often do we doubt God; despite the trials and temptations he has brought us through. How many situations have we missed out on because of our lack of faith? Our ability to function within our spiritual gifts directly relates to our relationship with God. The more time we spend with God, in prayer and in the word, the easier it is to truly believe He is able perform miracles today.

P Dear Lord, Please forgive me for times when I have doubted you. Increase my faith, I want to see situations through your eyes. You love me unconditionally and desire to be a blessing to me. Give me the ability to stand on the answered prayers and miracles you have performed in my life.

Good stuff Aaron. I really have to say that is a tough thing to do sometimes. I see the miracles He has done in my life; the life of another; or the life of someone in the bible–and when challenging times come I ocassionally find myself dropping my sword and running for the hills! But God is asking me to stand and be very courageous in those tough stretches (sometimes tough stretches can last for a while).
