Enthusiastic Spirit — Janelle Chandler

Acts 18:25

S He had been taught the way of the Lord, and he taught others about Jesus with an enthusiastic spirit and with accuracy. However, he knew only about John’s baptism.

O Apollos didn’t know all the details or have all the answers but he was enthusiastic about the message he was telling. He didn’t need to know everything because he had God’s power to deliver a message that would reach others.

A I want to have the same kind of spirit. I want to have enough faith that the Lord will give me the words that are supposed to be shared. I want to have a godly boldness to step out and share my heart. The key to this kind of spirit is to possess it when I am feeling the least amount of confidence.

P Dear Lord,

I thank you for your message and I thank you for giving me the power to share it with others. My prayer is that you give me a boldness that I have never seen before to share your message with an incredible enthusiastic spirit.

Amen
