Thanks for your entry Blake. I have a hard time myself when I see people, especially leaders in the church, abuse their power. I know it grieves the Lord when leaders in the body of Christ are unfaithful and abusive to their families or become addicted to money and what comes with it...It is not that we don't all have those temptations, but Jesus calls those of us who lead and disciple to a higher level of accountability. People in the world see all that and say "LOOK...they are no different than us." Any wonder that divorce rates are the same for the church and the non church? And it IS walking daily with the Lord in a prayer filled life and having trustworthy brothers and sisters we can share our REAL struggles with to keep on that straight and narrow path. It is a joy to watch you walk with Jesus and it is evident that he is your Lord...Thanks for serving our kids so faithfully.

Blake,
Right on! This is good stuff...no really, these are almost never my first 2 responses, but when you lay it out so simply and humbly, it makes perfect sense. Just the reminder that I needed.
