Im so happy to know that when I come to him and confess my sin, that he cleanses me from all the evil effects of my particular sin. I can thank him for and claim his forgiveness for me. And its not as though I'm coming to Him in hopes that he might forgive me, (that part has already been dealt with when we received him into our lives). Our position in Christ has provided for us so amazingly that we can merely come to Him and confess it and ask him to cleanse us andwash it away. 1. Lord I did it and no body made me do it. 2. Lord I know it was wrong and I dont want to be that way, 3. Help me by your grace, power and strength combined with my obedience to live in this area of my life as you would have me. God Bless!
